# Charity Donation Fee

The token contract itself is developed with a 1% charity transaction fee. This means that for every $1 worth of tokens, a penny (or fraction thereof) is donated to animals and non-profit organizations! These donations will be automatically withheld and deposited into a charity wallet.  After the fees are collected the community will have a chance to vote on which charities to make a donation. Smudge loves to help out his furry friends and wants to be surrounded by people who are passionate about giving back.
